Your privacy at wuzzli

Wuzzli is responsible for the personal information used by the wuzzli.pet and wuzzli.me services.

What we collect

Account and contact details; the pet, person, belonging and emergency information you choose to add; photos and files you upload; tag activation and scan records; an approximate or precise location only when someone actively shares it or adds a lost-area pin; and notification preferences.

Why we use it

To create and secure your account, operate your charms and finder pages, contact you about scans and lost or found events, provide reminders you request, prevent misuse, and maintain the service. Optional product news is used only when you choose it.

Our legal bases

We use information to perform our service contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention and reliable operation. We use consent for optional notifications, precise finder location and marketing where consent is required.

Public finder pages

You control which profile fields a finder can see. Do not publish information you are not comfortable sharing with anyone who scans the charm. Location sharing is voluntary for the finder.

Who processes it

We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, and Vercel for app hosting. If you open the shop, WooCommerce and the shop's payment providers process the order under the shop privacy notice. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep active account and charm data while your account is open. Retired charm and security records may be retained for a limited period to prevent reassignment errors and investigate misuse. We remove or anonymise data when it is no longer needed, subject to legal and dispute requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or hide profile information in the app and disable optional notifications. You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain uses. These rights can depend on the reason the information is processed.

Contact and complaints

For privacy requests, email info@wuzzli.me. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
